La Rocca is an antique Tuscan farmhouse situated on a luminous hill in the Tuscan countryside. Furthermore, La Rocca is located along a historical Tuscany pilgrim’s path.

La Rocca, already mentioned in the archives before the 13th century, represents the simple beauty of a Tuscan farm house with its “terracotta” tiles and wooden ceilings. We offer simplicity and country style, in line with this no television or telephone, but there is Wi-Fi. Do not expect hotel service or hotel atmosphere, but nice and cosy surrounding.

La Rocca offers private guest rooms that are inside the big house. You can relax in our garden or refresh yourselves in our little swimming pool. You will easily reach the most famous cities of cultural interest in Tuscany: Florence, Siena, Lucca, Pisa, Volterra, San Gimignano, Arezzo and Cortona.

La Rocca permits to visit the most famous Wine producing regions of Tuscany: Chianti Classico, Montalcino (Brunello), Montepulciano (Nobile di Montepulciano). Our Tuscan farmhouse is on the hils in front of the “reign” of the Marchesi Antinori Chianti Classico production and their famous wines.

25 Euros person/ per day
20 Euro per booking/ room (bath and bedroom linen, water, electricity, final cleaning)

We will kindly ask for an account in the moment of reservation. Your booking is valid with arrival of your account.

Day and time of arrival
Please agree with us time of arrival at La Rocca (normally from 6 pm to 9 pm). Please send us a telephone number that is valid in Italy during your stay.

How to reach La Rocca
From Highway – Autostrada A1, exit FIRENZE IMPRUNETA, then take the motorway SS 2 – Superstrada Firenze - Siena, third exit is TAVARNELLE, 2 km in direction TAVARNELLE, then follow the indication MORROCCO and merge into Strada del Cerro (where is too the restaurant LA FATTORIA), further 700 meter and on the right you will see the sign LA ROCCA B&B and the entrance beside. Please continue on the same road and leave your car on the parking signed P La Rocca on the left side.
From SIENA, exit SAN DONATO IN POGGIO, then proceed in direction to TAVARNELLE, 300 meters after MORROCCO merge right into the STRADA DEL CERRO on the right, after 1500 meters you will see a little parking on the right side. 30 meters further on the left you will find the entrance from La Rocca.


If you wish Native cold pressed olive oil from olives or table wine from this hill, please ask us for it. We will be happy to help you with our suggestions.
Smokers
Our house is a NON smoker’s house. Please do not smoke in the house or the rooms, or bathrooms. But of course you can smoke in the garden!
Internet
We offer WIFI in the common places of La Rocca. Please ask for the password used in La Rocca. Otherwise you will find internet in the library of Tavarnelle or the bar in the “piazza” of Tavarnelle.

Museumsbooking
We strongly recommend to book in order to avoid queues, phone number 0039 055 294883.! The will ask you your name and you have to agree date and time of the national museums (for example Uffizi). Please keep with you date, time and reservation number.

Florence and San Gimignano 25 km, Florence Certosa 16 km, Siena 35 km, Pisa 70 km, bus stop of the Florence-Siena bus line SITA only 800 metres.
Tavarnelle 3 km , San Casciano V.P. 10 km with country markets, shops, pharmacies, supermarkets, a bank etc.
