Hostal ALMAR is a holiday accommodation that is located in a safe and quiet area, in the southeast part of the Caribbean Museum of the Caribbean "Trinidad", only fifteen minutes walk from the center. The neighborhood is quiet and there are other rental houses where you can interact with other tourists who book nearby, neighbors are affable and almost all are professionals.
The bus stop to the beach is only 10 minutes walk from the accommodation, although you can go by bicycle which you can rent at your own house, as it is only 12 km away, Ancón beach ranked among the top ten in Cuba for its White sands and crystalline waters. We also offer horseback riding, diving and hiking with experienced guides and flexible prices.
You can also visit the Valley of the mills, declared by the UNESCO world heritage site, where you will have experiences of the Spanish colonial era on the island and the cultivation and processing of sugar cane. The historical center of the city is impressive with almost one Km of cobbled streets and monuments of colonial times, and countless tourist centers, where you can enjoy traditional cultural activities such as peasant music, trova, afrocuban shows and a great variety of handicrafts very typical of our town.
