The Hotel Donato originally born in 1950 as guest-house, today offer a 3 stars service. Recently renewed, is the result of an ancient tradition handed down from generations.
This has allowed to maintain an high level of hospitality, to ensure the guests a very quiet time in a fine, welcoming place and complete of every comfort.

ROOMS

The hotel has 9 bright and comfortable bedrooms, all provided of: bathroom, heating, air conditioner, tv, hairdryer, complimentary toiletries, daily change of linen, room service, Wi-Fi, telephone and mini-bar.
Each room is customized and different from the others, for colors and style but is guaranteed once again the warm sensation of family atmosphere required from our guests.

AREAS

In the spring-summer season the hotel is enriched by enchanting external spaces.
On the ground floor the garden is a little quiet oasis, where is possible to chill out with a book given from the internal library or with our aperitif.
In this period of the year breakfast and dinner are served at the fine terrace on the first floor, panoramic space of the property where may be observed glimpses of the Ganzirri’s Lake.
In the winter time meals are served in the warm dining room embellished with a nineteenth-century chimney, that heats up and makes colorful the ambience, here also piano and other musical instruments available for our guests personalize the atmosphere.

RESTAURANT

The hotel restaurant offer specialty of the real Mediterranean cuisine and also healty and natural products from Messina.
The local fish is exclusively daily fresh; the quality of meat is the highest from selected farms; seasonal fruits and vegetables taste delicious also because sometimes are picked up from the internal vegetable garden, where this area offer authentic flavors.
Everything is accompanied by a local wine in the variants of white and red.

LOCATION

The Hotel Donato is situated in a stunning location between theGanzirri’s Lakeand the Ionian sea, on the north side of Sicily, is easy to reach beautiful and touristic sites like Giardini Naxos, Taormina, Mount Etna, Milazzo, Capo D’Orlando and the Aeolian Islands.
We are located just 7 Km far from Messina City center, Ganzirri is a wonderful and quiet little village famous for the characteristic lakes and for the junction of two seas: Ionian and Tyrrhenian that in the summer time are popular tourist destination also thanks to the wonderful beaches.
From here are easily reachable the Hospital “Papardo” and the Ortopedico del Mezzogiorno d’Italia “Franco Scalabrino”, reachable also with the shuttle service of the hotel.
