The Farmhouse " The Buzzards " was born from a careful restoration of an old barn in a small mountain hamlet , Retignano , 450 mt. s.l.m. and only 15 km from Forte dei Marmi in the heart of the Park of the Apuan Alps . The Farmhouse " The Buzzards " is one of the exercises recommended by the Park of the Apuan Alps for its environmentally friendly choices , because we pay particular attention to energy conservation , waste collection , the typical product , biological , enhancement of the Park territory , synergies alternatives , biodegradable detergents and much more. The Farmhouse offers its guests an apartment with its own entrance , a double room with breakfast service and plenty of tent in the camping area , equipped with electricity, hot showers and laundry area . For all guests there is a beautiful garden with tables and chairs and a chance to visit the Mieleria , where we breed bees that produce honey and derivatives altssima quality . In our restaurant we finally dishes prepared according to traditional recipes , made with the freshest ingredients , many of which are " zero kilometer ", or directly from the manufacturers , to enjoy delicious meals or to celebrate your special events immersed in the paradise of the Alps Apuan , a short distance from the beautiful beaches of Versilia .
