B&B il Gabbiano is situated in Cava D'aliga,one of the most beautiful sea-resorts near Scicli.It is only 80 mt. from the sea.
You can enjoj a wonderful view and get the beach in a couple of minutes.The fine sand,the clean water and the cliffs on the bay add to the fascination of this particular stretch of the Hyblean coast.
The B&B "il Gabbiano" is equipped with every comfort(conditioned air,private bathroom,TV set,a view of the sea)and it also has a wide veranda where you can put up four people.It is also furnished with kitchen and electrical household appliances(washing-machine,refrigerator).
Il Gabbiano offers you the possibility of a wonderful holiday within a stone'sthrow from the seashore at a moderate cost.
Our structure is a few minutes by car from the town of Scicli,declared by UNESCO "Patrimony of Humanity" together with other towns in the renowned Val di Noto(Ragusa Ibla,Modica,Noto,Palazzolo Acreide).This area is particularly valuable for the late baroque architecture still visible in many churches and aristocratic palaces.Most of these buildings were raised after the earthquake of January 11 1693 that destroyed many towns in Val di Noto.Nowdays the same towns are the favourite destination of thousands of tourists from different parts of the world.The Iblean coast,in fact,an ideal place for spending a holiday that combines an interest in nature,history and art.Moreover,Scicli and the surrounding area have been choose as the location for a very successful TV series about Inspector Montalbano from the novels by famous Sicilian writer Andrea Camilleri.
