The Association OltreVela was created to spread the culture and the sport of sailing and seamanship . It is an amateur sports association non-profit organization . For 8 years we organize sailing courses at different levels with sailboats of various sizes. Sailing is not only a sport but a way of life, where the love for the sea passes through the manifold and complex knowledge of how man has harnessed the power of the wind and waves to move beyond the horizon . As completion of the courses and approach to the art of surfing , Oltrevela organizes for its members , educational and tourist sailings per week : to put into practice the basics of sailing while visiting beautiful places with a crew that gets a group of friends. Among the major social aims of the association is also to help you learn about and appreciate the territories in all their aspects , from the beautiful scenery to the cultural riches . To this end Oltrevela organizes initiatives in which seafaring activities , tours , musical performances , food and wine become the many facets of alternative tourism .
