The Well in the town of Borgo San Lorenzo is a tiny rural village about two miles from Ronta in Mugello, whose origins are lost in the mists of time. Attached to the hills that herald the Monte Giuvigiana and the Apennines, which here separates Tuscany from Romagna, is about 500 mt. above sea level, surrounded by olive groves and the last great forests of chestnut trees. About two kms away, railway station Ronta and in 45 minutes you can easily reach Florence. Are just a few kilometers all the most beautiful and important Mugello from the birthplace of Giotto in Vicchio, the Cafaggiolo Castle, former residence of the Medici, the Bilancino lake, the beach of Mugello, Scarperia with its castle and the modern circuit, and finally all'l'Outlet Barberino for an interlude devoted to shopping.
